Work Truck Solutions is seeking a Senior SDET to own end-to-end test automation, leveraging AI to accelerate coverage. You will shape the Playwright framework, mentor engineers, and ensure tests balance value and reliability across product lines including dealer software and admin tools. The role is remote (US-based) with preference for CA, TX and FL.

Starting pay range is $142k–$170k per year. You will work with a distributed Platform/Engineering team and drive testing in a modern CI/CD

Qualificações

• 7+ years in test automation or software engineering in test.
• Expert in Playwright with TypeScript: fixtures, page objects, network interception, parallel runs.
• Judgment about test value and ability to shrink a bloated suite.
• Hands-on AI experience with coding agents, prompts and agent configurations.
• Track record mentoring test engineers to grow automation skills.
• Strong multi-language coding ability including JavaScript/TypeScript and backend language.
• Experience API testing and REST APIs with test data management (SQL).
• CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Solid Git workflow and collaboration in distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Own the test automation strategy across unit, API and end-to-end layers.
• Build and scale Playwright framework with page objects, fixtures and data handling.
• Use AI to write, expand and maintain test coverage while pruning non-value tests.
• Explore agentic testing approaches and pilot effective methods.
• Mentor QA team, pair with engineers and review automation work.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD for fast, reliable feedback.
• Collaborate with developers to write testable code and stable UI tests.
• Communicate clearly with a distributed team and manage quality risks.
