Job summary

GEM Technologies, Inc. seeks a Sr. Solutions Architect to lead SAP data migration efforts for the Los Alamos National Laboratory program. The role is full-time with a strong remote-capable work model and requires deep experience in S/4HANA migrations, data governance, and regulated-industry compliance.

You will coordinate with the SI data lead, validate migration approaches, manage cross-domain data cleansing, and drive risk-aware decision-making for go-live readiness and hypercare support.

Qualifications

• Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree and 15+ years leading enterprise SAP data migration workstreams, with at least 4 full-lifecycle S/4HANA programs delivered end-to-end.
• Citizenship – United States citizen due to federal nature of work.
• Clearance – ability to obtain government clearance, if needed.
• Experience running data workstreams from inside a major SI on large scale programs and client-side advisory.
• Deep hands-on experience migrating from non-SAP sources into SAP.
• Full-scope enterprise migration across FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, HR/HCM, EAM, Master Data.
• Hands-on with multiple migration toolsets.
• Regulated-industry exposure to HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, GDPR, FedRAMP.

Responsibilities

• Serve as client-side senior authority on SAP data migration and coordinate with SI data lead.
• Challenge SI data migration approach to reduce risk, cost, and downstream burden.
• Advise on migration architecture for greenfield S/4HANA from non-SAP sources.
• Advise on tooling selection and trade-offs for cost, time, and auditability.
• Provide hands-on coordination and day-to-day data workstream execution across domains.
• Maintain migration task plan and flag slippage early with resolution.
• Act as daily point of contact with SI data migration team and escalate delays.
• Run working sessions with client data owners and SI team; track actions and decisions.
• Set cleansing standards across data domains and validate quality criteria for go-live.
• Coordinate with data owners to keep cleansing on schedule and unblock issues.
• Surface data quality risks before they become critical and organize mock load cycles.
• Review reconciliation results independently of SI and ensure validation tasks are completed.
• Support go-live readiness and post-go-live data hypercare.
