Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an experienced IT Architect to lead enterprise automation and RPA initiatives within IS Corporate Systems. You will drive architecture design, governance, and engineering excellence across healthcare applications.

You will partner with Architects and Managers to build metrics, KPI dashboards, and ensure secure, scalable delivery. This role demands deep technical knowledge, strong leadership, and collaboration across teams to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Total Years of Experience: 5+ years with a bachelor’s degree or 12–15 years+ without a bachelor’s demonstrated progressive leadership in enterprise automation/RPA.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Lead code/design reviews and daily/weekly meetings.
• Collaborate with Architects and Managers to develop Metrics & KPI’s.
• Analyze data and generate detailed reports focusing on development metrics and KPIs.
• Identify technical risks and form contingency plans.
• Provide root cause analysis for production defects and minimize defect leakage into production.
• Own the quality of the delivered product with automated testing and well-documented code.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Architects and Managers to enforce the vision of the application architecture.
• Serve as the deep technical expert for the applications supported by the team.
• Lead cross-team technical collaboration and risk design.
• Oversee technology changes to deliver business outcomes and leverage SME resources.
• Create and deliver production-ready IT services for agile teams.
• Conduct security audits to identify areas of improvement.
• Develop technology strategy and roadmaps within area of specialty.
