Echelon Risk + Cyber is seeking a Senior Risk Advisory Consultant to lead and execute cybersecurity risk engagements across frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and SOC 2. The role offers remote work from anywhere in the USA and requires strong leadership, client communication, and policy development skills.

You will guide incident response planning, help build client roadmaps, and deliver reports and analytics that drive measurable risk reduction for clients in various industries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, risk advisory, or related field.
• Experience with governance, risk, and compliance planning and management.
• Knowledge of multiple information security frameworks and best practices.
• Ability to lead engagements from scoping through delivery and to mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scoping, execution, and reporting of cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Collaborate with IT management to develop roadmaps to improve client maturity.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures for clients.
• Review security controls against best practices and frameworks.
• Lead tabletop exercises and develop client-specific scenarios.
• Document results, create client reports, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Identify information security risks and provide actionable recommendations.
• Manage multiple engagements with timeliness and quality.
