At Aegis, you’ll turn complex data into practical improvements, strengthen reimbursement outcomes, and guide a team dedicated to building a more efficient, compliant, and effective revenue cycle operation.

Candidates must reside in the Greater Nashville area.

Role Overview

As the Senior Revenue Cycle Business Analyst & Team Lead, you will analyze and optimize financial processes across patient registration, coding, billing, denials, collections, and payer resolution. You will identify trends, translate findings into actionable strategies, and supervise Revenue Cycle Specialists and Business Analysts as they improve workflows, appeals, reporting, and reimbursement outcomes.

  • Supervise Revenue Cycle Specialists and Business Analysts through work planning, coaching, feedback, cross-training, performance development, and review of deliverables.
  • Translate complex findings into clear summaries and actionable next steps that align stakeholders and maintain momentum on strategic initiatives.
Qualifications

  • Healthcare revenue cycle experience, including denials management, through one of the following pathways: at least 10 years with a high school diploma or GED; at least 7 years with a bachelor’s degree; or at least 5 years with a master’s degree.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, third-party payer processes, and applicable reimbursement requirements.
  • Experience using reporting tools and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking to reimbursement and denial analysis and turn complex information into practical recommendations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to coach team members and collaborate effectively across functions.

This position is primarily remote; onsite work may be required with business needs and candidates must be local to the Greater Nashville area.
