Job summary

BaubleBar Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to own revenue accounting across DTC, marketplace and wholesale channels.

You will manage month-end close for revenue, returns, chargebacks, and related balance sheet accounts, partnering with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Systems. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with high-volume e-commerce data, plus the ability to document conclusions clearly and maintain robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years of progressive accounting experience including revenue accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP (ASC 606).
• Experience with high-volume transaction environments (DTC/retail/marketplaces) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly revenue close for DTC, marketplace, wholesale and other channels.
• Prepare and review revenue-related journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Reconcile gross sales, discounts, refunds, chargebacks, gift cards and settlements to GL.
• Ensure revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP (ASC 606).
• Analyze net sales, returns and deferred revenue monthly.
• Investigate variances across systems and ledgers to resolve issues.
• Maintain documentation for revenue-related internal controls and audit evidence.
