Job summary

Cotiviti is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant for a remote US role to support revenue accounting under U.S. GAAP and ASC 606. You will review contracts, prepare journal entries, and assist with the monthly close and audits.

The role requires 3+ years in revenue accounting in software, strong analytical ability, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Legal, Billing and Finance. Base compensation is competitive with strong benefits and a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years in technical revenue accounting, preferably in software.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606.
• Experience with SOX 404 compliance and audits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual revenue items and footnotes per GAAP.
• Review contracts and non-standard arrangements for revenue recognition.
• Record monthly revenue-related journal entries.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support SOX controls and audits related to revenue.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Billing and Finance teams.
