Empower Careers seeks a Senior Workplace Planning Consultant to deliver comprehensive retirement and financial wellness guidance to participants in employer-sponsored plans. You will guide participants through managed accounts, educate on distributions, and deepen relationships with proactive engagements.

The role emphasizes strong planning acumen, organizational skills, and a proactive, upbeat attitude in a fast-paced environment, with inbound and outbound calling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 2+ years of financial services or advisory experience.
• Proven sales success.
• Knowledge of IRAs and retirement plans.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn Empower's record-keeping system and Salesforce.
• FINRA 7 & 66 (or 63 & 65) registrations required.
• FINRA fingerprinting upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships by delivering personalized service and respond to plan and policy questions with listening and empathy.
• Relay accurate information and clearly communicate policies and procedures.
• Retain assets through education and guidance on plan options.
• Educate customers on distribution decisions and tax implications of retirement proceeds.
• Deliver optimal solutions in every interaction.
• Collaborate with peers to problem solve and deliver results.
• Use innovative tools to find best retirement-planning options.
• Meet monthly and annual sales and service goals.
