Franciscan Health is seeking a Senior Retirement Plan Administration Specialist to oversee daily administration of 401(k), 403(b), 457(b), and defined benefit plans, coordinating with actuaries and trustees. The role supports coworkers and retirees, ensuring accurate information flows between Payroll, HRIS, actuaries, and benefits staff.

The position requires a CEBS or related degree, 5+ years of plan administration experience, and strong knowledge of retirement laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Five years of professional hands-on coworker benefits administration experience.
• Five years of in-depth understanding of defined benefit, defined contribution and non-qualified deferred compensation plans and related laws/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily retirement plan activities across multiple plans (401(k), 403(b), 457 variations) and coordinate with plan actuary.
• Communicate plan options to prospective retirees and ensure proper paperwork is completed.
• Maintain participant data and support payments, reversals, and benefit calculations as needed.
• Educate coworkers and beneficiaries on vesting and retirement elections.
