Qualifications

• At least three years of people management experience.
• Master’s degree in library science or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day research services, set priorities, and align services with firm, client, attorney, and practice group needs.
• Supervise research managers and analysts; provide coaching, professional development, and feedback.
• Oversee research workflow across centralized and virtual request management system to ensure high standards.
• Monitor request data, service trends, attorney feedback, and practice group priorities to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with the Director of Information Services to set short- and long-term goals and translate them into practical plans.
• Promote the firm’s research services by building strong relationships with attorneys, practice groups, and business professionals.
• Create, coordinate, and support training that helps research team members use tools, resources, and workflows effectively.
• Provide subject matter expertise on legal and business research tools, strategy, and best practices.
• Work with resources, vendors, and stakeholders to evaluate and improve tools and services.
• Participate in department initiatives that support Knowledge & Research Services goals.
• May work outside normal business hours for urgent needs.
