Job summary

SOLV Energy is looking for a Senior Relay Technician to lead testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of protective relays and control systems in Wisconsin. Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years relevant industry experience.
• NETA Level III or IV Certification preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety briefings and identify, mitigate, and eliminate workplace hazards.
• Perform acceptance, commissioning, functional, and end-to-end testing of Transmission Line protection.
• Train and qualify Relay Technician I/II and entry-level engineers.

Skills

Troubleshooting skills for transmission and distribution systems

Hands-on experience testing and maintaining protective relays

Proficiency with various relay testing software and equipment

Education

Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology
