Job summary
SOLV Energy is looking for a Senior Relay Technician to lead testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of protective relays and control systems in Wisconsin. The role involves heavy travel and ensuring compliance with industry standards. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology and 5 years of experience are preferred. Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years relevant industry experience.
NETA Level III or IV Certification preferred.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Responsibilities
Lead daily safety briefings and identify, mitigate, and eliminate workplace hazards.
Perform acceptance, commissioning, functional, and end-to-end testing of Transmission Line protection.
Train and qualify Relay Technician I/II and entry-level engineers.
Skills
Troubleshooting skills for transmission and distribution systems
Hands-on experience testing and maintaining protective relays
Proficiency with various relay testing software and equipment
Education
Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology
