Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Relay Technician to lead testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of protective relays and control systems. This remote position requires heavy travel to various jobsites. Candidates should have a relevant degree, at least five years of industry experience, and strong troubleshooting skills. Qualifications

• Minimum of five years relevant industry experience.
• NETA Level III or IV Certification preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety briefings and identify, mitigate, and eliminate workplace hazards.
• Perform acceptance, commissioning, functional, and end-to-end testing of transmission line protection.
• Function as on-site technical lead and interface with customers.

Skills

Troubleshooting skills for transmission and distribution systems

Hands-on experience testing and maintaining protective relays

Proficiency with various relay testing software and equipment

Education

Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology or Engineering
