Job summary

Empower Retirement, LLC in Wisconsin seeks a Sr Relationship Manager Mid-Market to partner with plan sponsors, advisors and TPAs, managing a portfolio of mid-size retirement plans to drive retention and growth.

As primary contact, you deliver strategic insights on plan design, investments and regulation, lead plan reviews, negotiate renewals, and collaborate with sales and client service teams to maximize value and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years financial services including building strategic relationships.
• FINRA 6 and 63 registration within established timelines.
• FINRA fingerprinting required.
• Life Insurance License required.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 5-20% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of mid-size complex retirement plans (20–30 plans).
• Cultivate relationships with plan sponsors, advisors, and TPAs to drive retention.
• Deliver strategic insights on plan design, investments, and retirement readiness.
• Lead periodic plan reviews and participant education planning.
• Coordinate with sales and client service teams to expand business and optimize profitability.
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex client issues.
