Job summary

Wipfli in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Senior Regulatory Compliance Consultant to advise financial services clients on risk, audits, and compliance programs. The role offers in-person, remote, or hybrid work with about 20% travel to client sites in WI, IL, and MN.

You will lead engagements, perform regulatory testing, and collaborate with executives to strengthen compliance management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in banking/financial institutions.
• Experience in creating, executing, and documenting regulatory compliance audits.
• Knowledge of lending and related regulations.
• Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide pro-active and on-going consultation regarding regulatory compliance risk assessment, remediation, monitoring, research, interpretation, change management, education, and board and management reporting.
• Assist financial services clients to develop and strengthen their compliance management system.
• Identify regulatory gaps and associated risks and propose solutions.
• Present information concisely to the board, audit or supervisory committee, management, and business lines.
• Conduct routine regulatory compliance testing for federal consumer regulations.
• Lead client engagements and engagement teams as needed.
