Job summary

Blue Coding is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join a high-growth real estate private equity platform focused on ground-up development and value-add multifamily assets. You will own budgets, forecasts, pro formas, and investment analyses, translating data from accounting and development systems into clear executive-ready insights.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or MBA; CFA charter is a plus.
• 4–8+ years of FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or real estate finance experience; multifamily exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain annual operating budgets, long-term forecasts, and project development budgets.
• Own the rolling re-forecast process, updating budgets monthly and quarterly.
• Prepare consolidated and entity-level cash flow forecasts (13-week, 1- and 5-year).
• Build and maintain project-level development and operating pro formas, fund-level models with waterfalls.
• Underwrite new acquisition and development opportunities; prepare investment committee analyses.
• Run sensitivity, scenario, and stress-test analyses on costs, rents, timing, rates, and exit cap rates.
• Model debt and capital structure alternatives; size construction loans, refi, covenants.
• Produce monthly/quarterly reporting packages and variance analyses with clear commentary.
• Track job cost and committed vs incurred vs remaining budgets with accounting/development teams.
• Build data infrastructure supporting FP&A; optimize queries and automate reporting (Azure, Power BI, Python).
• Own data quality and reconcile reporting to GL; document sources and logic.
• Partner with accounting, development, construction, asset management; support lenders/investors.
