Job summary

Roers Companies is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analytics for the operating real estate portfolio. The role emphasizes delivering timely, accurate insights to support property and investment decisions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The analyst will own property and portfolio planning, develop KPI reporting, and strengthen data governance, with strong real estate finance knowledge and an independent, builder-minded approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive FP&A, asset management, or related analytical experience.
• Mentoring junior team members or leading discrete projects.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial modeling, and analytics.
• Experience supporting real estate, operating, investment, or capital decisions.
• Experience presenting findings to leadership.
• Multifamily real estate experience preferred.
• Experience with Power BI and planning systems (Pigment, Vena, Anaplan, Adaptive) preferred.
• CFA, CPA, ARGUS or similar credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned work streams within the Property FP&A function and mentor analysts.
• Deliver recurring reporting, forecasting, analysis, and planning with high accuracy.
• Execute annual property budgeting and ongoing forecasting for properties.
• Build dashboards and BI tools using Power BI, Pigment, Excel.
• Improve forecast accuracy and develop long-range planning models.
• Collaborate with Asset Management and Property Management to evaluate performance drivers.
• Translate complex analyses into concise findings for leadership.
