This remote Senior Quantitative Researcher role focuses on CMS/CMMI APM implementation and evaluation, shaping methodologies and analyses across the Commence platform.

You will translate policy goals into operational designs, run evaluations with robust quasi-experimental methods, mentor junior researchers, and collaborate with economists and data

Qualificações

• Ph.D. in economics, health services research, health policy, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands‑on CMS/CMMI APM implementation/evaluation experience.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid data (e.g., CCW, IDR, VRDC).
• Proposal writing for federal audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Translate model design and policy goals into operational specs using CMS data.
• Develop and implement value-based care methodologies and screening; attribution and payments design.
• Design evaluations with propensity scoring, synthetic controls, and DD/event studies.
• Collaborate with economists, data scientists, and engineers on ML-based methods.
• Lead methodology documents, evaluation reports, and briefings for model teams.
• Mentor junior researchers and guide proposals; manage project scope and budget.
