Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Manager - Quality Engineering (P&C Insurance) to lead QA, automation roadmaps, and testing across legacy and modern platforms. You will drive end-to-end testing, collaborate with global teams, and shape quality strategies.

The role offers remote work within the United States, with preference for candidates near Memphis, TN, and eligibility for Cognizant's incentive program based on performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of QA and software testing experience.
• 5+ years leading test automation initiatives.
• Hands-on with UFT, Selenium, Playwright, API testing, and automation frameworks.
• Experience developing test strategies, plans, risk assessments, and defect processes.
• Deep P&C insurance domain knowledge and workflows.
• Testing legacy Progress-based and desktop applications.
• Strong Oracle/PLSQL and SQL query validation.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to lead distributed QA teams across onshore/offshore.
• Excellent communication and executive reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute testing strategies, test plans, and automation roadmaps for large-scale initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end automation testing across releases using modern frameworks.
• Drive QA for legacy Progress-based applications including functional/integration/regression testing.
• Manage test execution, defects, automation development, and quality reporting with global teams.
• Monitor metrics, KPIs, and release readiness with executive-level reporting.
