Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a Senior Staff Representative to oversee Airworthiness Directive (AD) and CFR compliance. You’ll lead audits, coordinate with the FAA, and ensure proper documentation and controls are in place. Remote work option listed.

The role requires an undergraduate technical/aviation degree and FAA A&P certification, with about seven years of relevant experience in aviation maintenance, QA, or engineering. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in technical, safety, or aviation related discipline with equivalent experience.
• FAA Airframe and/or Power-plant Certificate required.
• 7 years in heavy aviation maintenance, inspection, engineering or QA.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of CFRs and company manuals.
• Familiar with engineering authorizations, service bulletins, AMMs, IPCs.
• Computer skills including MS Office and ability to learn IT platforms.
• Experience interacting with the FAA.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AD/CFR compliance process and ensure airworthiness documents are in order.
• Audit AD/CFR related activities; ensure proper implementation and controls.
• Coordinate AD/CFR questions with the FAA and review AMOC proposals.
• Perform other audits and physical aircraft verifications as directed.
• Complete AD/CFR audit checklists and maintain database records.
