Job summary

United Airlines seeks a Senior Staff Representative for Quality Assurance, Airworthiness Directive Compliance. The role emphasizes oversight of AD/CFR compliance and audit program execution with FAA coordination.

You will perform AD/CFR audits, ensure proper implementation, address discrepancies, and maintain audit documentation. The position offers full-time hours based in Houston with a remote work option, and includes eligibility for bonus and long-term incentives.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in technical, safety, or aviation disciplines.
• FAA Airframe and/or Power-plant Certificate or equivalent QA experience.
• 7 years of heavy aviation maintenance, inspection, engineering or QA.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of CFRs and company manuals.
• Familiar with engineering authorizations, service bulletins, AMMs and IPCs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to learn IT platforms.
• Experience interfacing with the FAA.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Reliable, punctual attendance and responsible work habits.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and surveillance of AD/CFR compliance during audits.
• Audit AD/CFR implementation and control effectiveness.
• Coordinate AD-related questions with the FAA; report requirements.
• Perform other audits as directed; conduct physical aircraft audits.
• Complete AD/CFR audit checklists and maintain database records.
• Generate monthly audit findings reports.
