Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to design and execute automated and manual tests for web and API applications. You will build and maintain scalable test frameworks, perform API testing and DB validation, and drive high-quality releases in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QA, strong automation with Selenium/Playwright/Cypress, API testing with Postman/REST Assured, and solid SQL skills in Agile/CI/CD environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA or software testing experience.
• Strong automation with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress.
• API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Proficient SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Experience in Agile environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with SDLC/STLC and defect tracking (Jira).
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and collaborative skills.
