Job summary

Praxent is hiring for a remote QA testing role focused on data validation, automated testing, and API testing across web and mobile projects. You will leverage strong SQL skills to validate data, validate reports in SSRS/Power BI, and contribute to testing strategies.

This position supports a fully remote workforce with international locations. We value collaboration, mentorship, and delivering high-quality software.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years professional experience in relevant technology
• Experience leading automated testing for web and mobile apps
• Strong SQL ability including complex T-SQL
• QA methodology: test plans, cases, strategies, and data completeness testing
• BI/report testing with SSRS and Power BI
• Experience with SQL Server environment and data warehouse
• Azure data sources, SSAS cubes and Git are a plus
• Client leadership and stakeholder communication
• Ability to mentor peers and junior team members
• Bachelor-level education in CS, SE, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure acceptance criteria are understood by the team and tracked daily
• Perform automated and API testing for complex applications
• Document edge cases and assess risks to adjust acceptance criteria
• Contribute to test plans and strategies and mentor peers
• Present testing plans and insights to clients during reviews
