Job summary

Peak Performers, in partnership with a Texas State Agency, seeks a remote Sr. Software QA Engineer/Tester to lead testing for complex web applications.

You will analyze requirements, design detailed test cases, and automate with Selenium and TestNG, while performing SQL data validation. This is a 5-month W2 contract with weekly direct deposit and healthcare coverage. Experience with Playwright and performance testing tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience testing complex web applications across SDLC.
• Strong experience with Selenium and TestNG.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with automation and performance testing tools.
• Experience with testing web tables and data validation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design detailed test cases.
• Create and execute automated functional and regression tests against HTML, PDF, and Excel reports; document results.
• Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data.
• Collaborate with developers and customers to implement test automation and communicate findings.
• Execute performance and accessibility testing and perform manual data validation.
