Job summary

Origis Energy O&M and Construction Technicians seeks a Senior Manager PV Energy & Performance Engineering to model, analyze and optimize plant performance for utility solar + energy storage projects.

You will collaborate with Business Development, Project Engineering, EPC, Asset Management, and Operations to deliver defensible energy performance assessments and engineering solutions that strengthen reliability and generation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in solar energy modeling and optimization.
• Knowledge of data sources, system loss factors, and modeling tools for utility-scale PV production assessments.
• Familiarity with battery energy storage systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Model, analyze, and optimize PV and storage project performance.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Business Dev, Project Engineering, EPC, and Asset Mgmt.
• Develop defensible energy performance assessments and engineering solutions.
• Track workflow of the modeling team and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Support PPA due diligence and M&A activities as needed.
