Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a Senior Purchasing Specialist for the Animal Nutrition team in a remote role across the United States.

You will review sources, negotiate terms, place purchase orders in the ERP, and collaborate with grain marketing and production teams to optimize cost of goods and ensure timely deliveries. The role requires strong communication and a background in feed ingredient purchasing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, purchasing and commodity trading/merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Review sources of supply and select vendors.
• Negotiate prices, terms and delivery of feed ingredients.
• Create purchase orders and contracts; process orders in ERP.
• Maintain safety culture and follow policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with Global Grain Marketing and plant teams to reduce cost of goods.
