Job summary

Samaritan Health Services is seeking a senior provider contracting leader to manage complex, high-value negotiations across Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and Commercial lines in a remote-capable role. You will develop multi-year strategies for hospitals and health systems, mentor staff, and advise executive leadership on network strategy, reimbursement methods, and cost-of-care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Four (4) years of progressive provider contracting experience in a managed care environment.
• Experience negotiating complex hospital, health system, and risk-based agreements.
• Experience across Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and Commercial product lines.
• Extensive experience designing and managing value-based payment and alternative payment models.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-value provider contracting initiatives across Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and Commercial lines.
• Develop multi-year contracting strategies for hospitals, health systems, and strategic providers.
• Serve as subject matter expert in reimbursement methodologies, value-based payment design, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead negotiations, perform advanced financial modeling, and mentor contracting staff.
