Job summary

Alliant is seeking a senior claims professional to oversee medium to large, complex Property claims with substantial direct client contact in Washington. You will coordinate with brokers, staff, clients and adjusters to drive settlements and coverage interpretations.

The role requires extensive P&C knowledge, CPCU/AICPU/ARM credentials and active licensing, plus the ability to train teams and develop client-focused strategies across a range of loss scenarios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eight+ years related work experience in brokerage or carrier settings.
• In-depth knowledge of P&C insurance coverage and risk management concepts.
• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
• Associate in Claims-American Institute for CPC Underwriters (AICPU).
• Accredited Accounts Receivable Manager (ARM).
• Valid Fire and Casualty Broker – Agent license.

Responsibilities

• Manages claims status and coordinates with broker, staff, client and adjuster to advance next steps.
• Partners with client legal counsel on coverage, claims and settlement strategy.
• Oversees medium to large, complex Property claims and data in databases.
• Prepares coverage arguments and policy positions for client advocacy.
• Attends claims meetings with clients, carriers and counsel to resolve issues.
• Delivers training materials and conducts claims training in client environments.
• Ensures data integrity in agency management systems.
