Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services is seeking a claims professional to manage medium to large, complex claims with direct client contact. You will coordinate with brokers, staff, clients and adjusters, develop coverage positions, and support settlements with legal counsel as needed.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, 8+ years in brokerage or carrier work, and may possess CPCU/AIC/ARM certifications with a valid license. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eight or more years related work experience in brokerage or carrier.
• CPCU, AIC and/or ARM preferred; active license in Fire and Casualty broker/agent.

Responsibilities

• Manages claims status and coordinates next steps with broker, staff, client and adjuster.
• Partners with client legal counsel on coverage, claims and settlement strategy.
• Manages medium to large, complex claims and maintains claims data for underwriting and client reviews.
• Prepares coverage positions and loss valuations; analyzes claims information.
• Attends claims meetings with clients, carriers, and legal counsel; communicates updates.
