Veolia Water Technologies invites applications for a remote Project Manager role that can be located anywhere in North America. You will lead a team of engineers to design, build, and manage complex water treatment projects in the Industrial Market, overseeing scope, budget, and schedule from contract to startup.

Collaboration with Lead Engineer, Sourcing Project Leader, and client teams is essential to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or an equivalent field.
• 10 years of experience managing projects which include equipment supply and construction.
• A valid passport.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or the ability to obtain it within one year.
• Experience managing Engineering and Procurement contracts.
• Experience in industrial process system design/construction, specifically water treatment in the chemical, oil & gas, or power markets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of water treatment equipment projects from initiation through completion.
• Organize how the contract will be executed and define clear project objectives.
• Develop and maintain realistic plans for scope, budget, schedule, and key milestones.
• Coordinate the project team so everyone understands priorities, project structure, and their responsibilities.
• Work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to satisfy contractual and technical requirements.
• Promptly elevate issues or events that could significantly impact cost, schedule, scope, or quality.
• Monitor progress through regular reviews and internal reports, adjusting plans as needed.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Oversee project changes and support claims management where required.
• Actively participate in technical meetings and project reviews.
• Collaborate with technical experts and discipline engineers to resolve issues and address critical topics.
• Maintain and update action plans, ensuring timely closure of actions and adherence to project objectives.
