Job summary

Public Consulting Group (PCG) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead rural health transformation initiatives. You will oversee multiple interdependent workstreams, coordinate governance, and ensure alignment with timelines, budgets, and strategic goals.

The role requires guiding client relationships and providing executive-level communications. Ideal candidates bring seven+ years in project or program management within healthcare, Medicaid or public health contexts, and PMP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Policy, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Health Policy, or related field preferred.
• Seven or more years of progressively responsible project or program management experience.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams within complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of complex rural health transformation projects and multiple interdependent workstreams.
• Establish project management standards, tools, processes, and reporting structures.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, risk registers, and dashboards.
• Monitor project health, milestones, budget, deliverables, and resource utilization; escalate when needed.
• Identify risks and barriers; develop mitigation strategies with client and leadership.
• Ensure alignment across teams and contractual commitments; maintain collaboration.
• Serve as primary client-facing lead; communicate progress, risks, and decisions to executives.
