Job summary

Lumicity is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering activities supporting power solutions for data centers, utilities, microgrids and critical infrastructure. The role is remote with site travel to Northeast USA and Texas, with preference for candidates in those states.

In this role you will coordinate electrical, mechanical, civil and controls engineering, standardize site designs, and translate customer requirements into executable projects while mentoring

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in power generation, distributed energy, microgrids, critical infrastructure or industrial energy systems.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams or programs.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical and civil systems integration.
• Experience in customer-facing engineering, technical sales or project development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead product development or deployment activities.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical, mechanical, civil and controls engineering activities to develop scalable site solutions.
• Drive standardized site layouts, equipment configurations and bills of materials to improve deployment speed, reduce risk and lower installation costs.
• Evaluate customer requirements and guide technical reviews, performance modeling and solution optimization.
• Ensure proposed solutions meet performance, reliability, environmental and compliance requirements.
• Partner with commercial, contracts and product teams to support strategic customer opportunities.
• Lead technical proposal development, RFP responses, customer presentations and solution reviews.
• Support feasibility studies, constructability assessments and installation cost optimization.
• Coordinate with EPCs, suppliers and engineering partners to improve project development and deployment approaches.
• Guide and mentor engineers, establish best practices and support team development.
• Improve engineering processes to deliver consistent, practical and customer-focused solutions.
