Job summary

AECOM is seeking a project professional to manage the project lifecycle from design through commissioning for a first‑of‑its‑kind stellarator program in the US. Remote work and/or placement at AECOM Energy offices across the United States is supported.

The candidate will lead matrixed design teams, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure delivery in line with the AECOM QMS. Travel is occasional; sponsorship for US employment is not available.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
• 6+ years of project management in power generation or related field.
• Experience delivering complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project lifecycle and act as the project/program manager.
• Lead planning and kickoff meetings to align stakeholders.
• Oversee internal financials, staffing, legal coordination and risk management.
