Job summary

CEI Engineering Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time Senior Project Designer to provide AutoCAD design for civil engineering projects. The role focuses on turning concepts into fully developed site plans with utilities, grading, and drainage, leveraging AutoCAD Civil 3D.

You will work with Project Managers, review surveys, and mentor CAD staff to ensure high-quality deliverables. The team emphasizes collaboration, professional growth, and a supportive environment, with benefits and remote

Qualifications

Bachelor-equivalent degree with 5 years related experience and/or training, plus 2 years related management experience, or equivalent combination.
1+ years of CAD design experience.
High proficiency with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Turn concepts into reality by designing comprehensive site development plans, including geometry, utilities, grading, drainage, and erosion control.
Run complex drainage calculations for slopes, hydraulic systems, sewer designs, and detention ponds with precision.
Guide projects from initial concept to constructible bid documents while coordinating with stakeholders.
Mentor CAD Technicians and junior designers to elevate the whole team.
