Job summary

Ampirical is seeking a Sr. Project Controls Finance professional to support high-impact power engineering projects across the United States.

You’ll partner with Project Managers, Engineering Leads, and cross-functional teams to provide financial oversight, strategic guidance, and project controls expertise across a diverse portfolio of power projects. The role emphasizes budgets, forecasts, earned value reporting, and data in the ERP system, with advanced dashboards in Power BI and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in project controls (utility engineering preferred).
• Associate degree with 12+ years of experience in project controls (utility engineering preferred).
• High School / GED with 12+ years of experience in project controls (utility engineering preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis across multiple engineering projects (budgets, forecasts, EV reporting).
• Develop and manage engineering budgets, WBS, portfolio forecasts, and cash flow models.
• Review cost and schedule performance; identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
