Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Sr. Project Control Specialist (Remote) to develop, implement, and maintain cost control on one or more large projects.

You will interface with program managers, finance, accounting, contracts, subcontracts, and procurement to address operational and financial requests. The role requires a 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics and 5–8 years of related experience, with strong knowledge of contract types and remote-work capability.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent required.
• 5–8 years of related work experience.
• Experience with various contract types (firm-fixed-price, cost-plus, T&M, etc.) required.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Interface with program managers, finance, accounting, contracts, subcontracts, and procurement to address requests.
• Prepare monthly financial deliverables; monitor costs and perform financial analyses against budget and forecast.
• Maintain forecasts and Estimates At Complete (EAC) for internal and external reporting; support quarterly forecasting and AOP.
• Distribute financial information and analysis to assist leadership in decision-making.
• Monitor subcontractor hours, costs, and invoices; track procurement activity and material forecasting.
