Job summary

Parsons Corporation in the United States is seeking a part-time Project Controls Associate to support the Project Controller with documenting and cost backup, ensuring alignment with customer billing, and handling document management and Excel tracking.

You will work with the project team to meet deadlines, review data for accuracy, and maintain files while collaborating remotely. Associates in business/finance plus strong attention to detail are expected; MS Office skills essential.

Qualifications

• Associates in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Project Management, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to review and organize detailed documentation and identify discrepancies.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Review project documentation and backup for completeness and accuracy.
• Verify costs and supporting documentation align with customer billing.
• Identify missing or inconsistent information and coordinate follow-up.
• Organize, maintain, and update files and documentation.
• Update spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
• Provide administrative support and documentation management.
• Collaborate with the Project Controller and team to meet deadlines.
• Perform other duties appropriate to the position.
