Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Project Control Specialist to support a rapidly growing FEDSIM project. You will create and analyze financial forecasts, establish baseline budgets, and coordinate with Finance, PMs, and subcontract admins to keep projects on track.

This role requires a four-year degree in accounting, finance, or economics and 5–10 years of related experience, with proficiency in Excel and Deltek Costpoint. It is part of our Corporate team and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
• 5–10 years of related work experience.
• Experience with various contract types (firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-award-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and time and material).

Responsibilities

• Creating and analyzing financial forecasts.
• Utilizing financial tools to mitigate risk.
• Facilitating the development of work breakdown structures (WBS).
• Establishing baseline budgets.
• Coordinating with Finance personnel, Project Managers, and Subcontract Administrators.
• Evaluating subcontractor forecasts and actual charges.
• Completing customer deliverables and ad hoc reporting.
• Guiding project managers to ensure compliance with polices and procedures.
