Job summary

DEPT is seeking a Senior Account Manager, Programmatic to oversee execution and optimization of programmatic campaigns within our retail vertical. You will partner with client services and programmatic teams to deliver recommendations, manage campaigns, and mentor junior staff while supporting a remote-first, time-zone specific work setup.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of programmatic media experience across CTV, Display, and Video, with exposure to Native, Audio, or OOH.
• Hands-on programmatic trading experience within retail marketplaces such as Walmart, Target, and Best Buy.
• Proficiency in multiple DSPs (Amazon, TTD, DV360) and familiarity with Ad Servers.
• Minimum 3 years’ paid marketing / ecommerce experience.
• Familiarity with Amazon Vendor/Seller Central.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring junior team members.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with a strategic mindset.
• Remote-first role; candidates must be in Mountain or Pacific time zones.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client services and programmatic teams to deliver client-first recommendations and day-to-day programmatic expertise.
• Develop and execute digital campaigns from conception to launch across platforms like Amazon (bonus experience with Walmart/Target).
• Manage and oversee executions and optimizations of sponsored campaigns.
• Build and maintain effective client relationships by communicating performance insights and opportunities.
• Demonstrate problem-solving, strategic thinking and clear communication in all interactions.
• Act as a proactive self-starter who can independently manage workflows while collaborating across teams.
• Support development and execution of programmatic strategy to drive performance and goals.
• Provide guidance and light mentorship to Account Managers and Coordinators.
• Champion core values and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
• Introduce innovative ideas to elevate team performance and campaign results.
