Job summary

DEPT® is a remote-first agency seeking a Senior Account Manager, Programmatic to oversee and optimize programmatic campaigns in the retail vertical. You will partner with client services and programmatic teams, delivering day-to-day expertise and strategic recommendations to clients.

You will guide campaigns across platforms like Amazon, Walmart, Target, DV360, and TTD, mentoring junior teammates and driving performance.

Qualifications

4+ years of programmatic media experience, preferably across CTV, Display, and Video, with exposure to Native, Audio, or OOH.
Hands-on programmatic trading experience within retail marketplaces such as Walmart, Target, & Best Buy.
Proficiency in multiple DSPs (Amazon, TTD & DV360 preferred), as well as familiarity with Ad Servers.
A minimum of 3 years’ paid marketing / ecommerce experience.
Familiarity with Amazon Vendor/Seller Central is required.
Demonstrated experience guiding or mentoring junior team members and contributing to their development.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a strategic mindset.
While DEPT® is a remote-first company, this role requires candidates to be located in either the Mountain or Pacific time zones.

Responsibilities

Partner closely with client services and programmatic teams to deliver client-first recommendations and provide day-to-day programmatic expertise.
Develop & execute cutting-edge digital campaigns from conception to launch across platforms like Amazon (bonus if you have experience on Walmart and Target).
Manage and oversee executions and optimizations of your sponsored campaigns.
Build, strengthen, and maintain effective client relationships by communicating performance insights and strategic opportunities.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and clear communication in all client and internal interactions.
Act as a proactive self-starter who can independently manage workflows while collaborating across teams.
Support the development and execution of programmatic strategy to drive performance and achieve client goals.
Provide guidance, feedback, and light mentorship to Account Managers and Coordinators to support their growth.
