Job summary

Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced Senior Program Analyst to join our team, supporting the Integrated Healthcare Transformation initiative at the Department of Veterans Affairs. The primary responsibility is to analyze and evaluate healthcare program effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting operational execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience.
• Experience working in Public Health, Health Administration, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency in program analysis, evaluation, or healthcare operations.
• Demonstrated experience conducting performance assessments and improvement planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing reports and engaging stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct program reviews to assess quality and effectiveness of current and future VHA healthcare programs.
• Measure program success, outcomes, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist in executing program operations to meet established goals and objectives.
• Provide input on program evaluation and organizational improvement strategies.
• Support the management of projects and programs to enhance productivity and performance.
• Identify and assess program resources to support strategic planning and execution.
• Develop and contribute to program reports, briefings, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with VHA leadership and cross-functional teams to align program goals with veteran healthcare needs.
