Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to strengthen cloud-native and application security for a large-scale healthcare data platform. You will partner with engineering teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle and make secure practices the default.

You will lead security across Kubernetes, containers, and infrastructure, drive threat modeling, and translate compliance requirements into practical controls in a fast, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of security engineering experience with staff-level impact through architecture and leadership.
• Deep Kubernetes security expertise, including network policy orchestration and container hardening.
• Proven ability to implement secure SDLC and CI/CD controls using GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud security posture across Kubernetes, containers, and infrastructure.
• Manage the complete vulnerability lifecycle with risk-based remediation.
• Partner with Platform Engineering to secure SDLC and CI/CD practices.
