National Student Clearinghouse seeks a Specialist III, Product Owner to translate customer and business objectives into actionable technology requirements. You will gather data, document findings, and define requirements across the product lifecycle including development, testing, training, and deployment.

The ideal candidate will perform as an agile leader, coaching junior team members and supporting multiple initiatives with a data-driven, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Experience defining requirements for mission-critical business applications.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and product ownership roles.
• Ability to translate data and customer insight into clear requirements.
• Strong collaboration with stakeholders to align on scope and priorities.
• Skilled in writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Lead the discovery and backlog refinement for multiple initiatives.
• Define and develop user stories, wireframes, data flows, and process maps.
• Collaborate with Product Manager to understand market needs and scope.
• Prioritize backlog, manage sprint planning, and track delivery against timelines.
• Communicate requirements clearly to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
