Job summary

Optum, a global health tech leader, seeks a Senior Product Manager for InterQual Connect and InterQual Medical Review Service. You will own strategy, roadmap, prioritization and commercial enablement for both the integrated user app and the InterQual backend platform.

You will partner with engineering, Sales, and Customers to define PRDs, manage API integrations, and model benefits for budgeting. Remote work is available nationwide, with in-office four days a week for Minneapolis or DC-area

Qualifications

7+ years of product management spanning strategic roadmap ownership and tactical delivery.
Experience owning a technical integration surface consumed by external partners or resellers.
Experience producing long-term roadmaps in standard road mapping tool and rationalizing those roadmaps across stakeholder groups.
Experience writing PRDs, Roadmap Initiatives (RMIs), or other similar business/technical requirements specifications.
Experience producing a release schedule and bottoms-up plan showing a release cadence for a multi-tenant SaaS or platform product.
Working knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, HL7 FHIR; SMART on FHIR, C-CDA, HL7 v2.
Track record of establishing intake and triage mechanisms for a high-demand product or platform.
Proven ability to prioritize credibly across competing initiatives and communicate the rationale to executive, engineering, and commercial audiences.

Responsibilities

Roadmap ownership for the integrated user app and backend platform; coordinate quarterly planning and 12–18 month roadmap.
Prioritize features, set release scope and calendar; approve production releases and PHI enablement with proper authorizations.
Own intake decisions for roadmap requests from partner teams and other stakeholders; maintain prioritization rationales.
Write PRDs and business cases; support grooming and benefits modeling for budgeting.
Manage partner integrations and validation through API versioning and migrations.
Define product positioning, packaging, pricing input, and portfolio alignment; enable sales and customers.
Conduct structured customer/partner listening to inform strategy and act as SME in engagements.
Drive launch readiness with Sales, Account Management and Customer Experience.
