Duke Energy Corporation is seeking a qualified Procurement Specialist to manage procurement of products and services, expedite orders, resolve invoice issues, and optimize supplier relationships. The role supports outage schedules and requires collaboration across legal and business units.

The position offers remote work within a defined footprint and opportunities to lead procurement projects and mentor procurement staff as part of the team.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years related work experience or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years for Senior Procurement Specialist
• Experience with procurement processes and supplier relations preferred

Responsabilidades

• Provides procurement services including expediting and resolution of invoice mismatches
• Manage purchase orders and contracts with vendors
• Monitor supplier relationships and ensure compliance with agreements
• Serve as liaison between suppliers and the business unit
• Support 24/7 outage schedule and out-of-hours coverage
• Participate in procurement rotate duties including nights and weekends
