Duke Energy Corporation seeks an experienced procurement professional to manage products and services for a major Business Unit. You will handle expediting, invoicing, pricing, and supplier relations with minimal supervision and contribute to cost savings and inventory reductions.

The role requires strong procurement knowledge, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to mentor others while supporting outage schedules and 24/7 activities within North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 2 years related work experience OR Associate’s degree + 4 years related work experience OR High School/GED + 6 years related work experience
• Experience in procurement processes, supplier management and contract administration
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization

Responsabilités

• Provides procurement services including expediting, invoice resolution and contract management
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with agreements
• Serve as liaison between suppliers and the Business Unit on procurement issues
• Participate in special projects and cross-functional teams as required
