Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Senior Procurement Administrator to support federal prime contracts. This fully remote role within the United States focuses on sourcing, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement.

The candidate will work with internal and external stakeholders, ensure compliance with procurement laws, and contribute to process improvements and cost savings across multiple programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• 8+ years of experience in US Government procurement.
• Excellent knowledge of the FAR/DFAR.
• Experience complying with CPSR policies and procedures.
• Experience in procuring materials and goods with emphasis on negotiation and PO administration.
• Strong knowledge of federal procurements and negotiation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operates and communicates effectively in a team environment with stakeholders.
• Serve as a liaison for Program Operations to coordinate procurement activities.
• Implement procurement policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyze information to stay informed on pricing trends and opportunities for savings.
• Assist in preparing RFPs and bid packages as required.
• Source, negotiate, and purchase services, equipment, and supplies to meet requirements.
• Negotiate with suppliers to determine best value while ensuring quality and schedules.
• Document and monitor Purchase Orders and CPSR documentation.
