Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. is seeking a Senior Principal Statistical Programmer to lead complex programming for clinical trials and DMC deliverables. You will set programming standards, mentor teams, and collaborate with biostatistics, data management, and study teams to ensure high-quality outputs.

You will oversee analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures, while driving automation and regulatory readiness across projects. Remote US-based position with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of statistical programming experience in a clinical trial environment.
• Deep expertise in SAS programming, including complex analyses and regulatory deliverables.
• Proficiency in R programming is a must.
• Demonstrated experience with CDISC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex programming efforts across studies.
• Experience mentoring staff and driving technical standards or best practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical expert in statistical programming across studies.
• Design, develop, validate, and oversee complex programming deliverables (analysis datasets, tables, listings, figures).
• Lead the development, validation, and continuous improvement of DMC macros and programming standards.
• Provide technical oversight to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency of deliverables.
• Drive programming standards, best practices, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with biostatistics and study teams on complex trial designs and analyses.
• Independently manage and prioritize programming activities across studies.
• Mentor statistical programming staff and share best practices.
