Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharma company, seeks a Senior Principal Real-World Analyst to lead analyses for Real-World Evidence (RWE) studies using diverse RWD sources. Reporting to the head of RWD/A in Global Evidence & Value Generation, this role requires deep RWE analytics expertise and strong SQL/R programming to deliver reliable results.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in data science, epidemiology, statistics, public health, or related discipline.
• Relevant experience (4+ years for MS, 2+ years for PhD) within biopharma companies, RWE consulting firms, or other healthcare industries.
• Demonstrated expertise with multiple RWD sources, with extensive hands‑on experience with Flatiron and Optum data (minimum 2 years).
• Expert proficiency in SQL and R. Knowledge of Python is advantageous.
• Familiarity with US and global health care coding systems (ICD, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, MedDRA) and delivery systems.
• Experience with time-to-event, cross-sectional, and longitudinal analyses for RWE generation.
• Experience with big data platforms (Snowflake). Knowledge of PowerBI is a plus.
• Strong executional rigor and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and audit RWE analyses using diverse Real-World Data sources.
• Collaborate with RWA lead and team to meet study timelines.
• Apply advanced statistical methods to deliver robust results.
• Clean and validate data and outputs for reliability.
• Document programming codes and definitions for reproducibility.
• Develop reports, presentations and dashboards communicating insights.
• Contribute to RWA standards ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay updated on evolving RWA methodologies and visualization tools.
