Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking outstanding scientists and leaders for the Real-world Evidence & Advanced Analytics team. You will lead RWE projects, mentor teammates, and develop best practices while applying RWD methodologies to mitigate biases in external control and comparative studies.

You will design studies, analyze diverse data sources, and deliver actionable insights to support regulatory interactions, with a focus on oncology, immunology, or neuroscience; a strong statistical and data

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in epidemiology or biostatistics.
• Expert coding skills using R, Python, or SAS.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in biopharma, RWE consulting, or healthcare.
• Extensive hands-on experience with data extraction, cleaning, and analysis.
• Expertise with multiple real-world data sources (EHR, claims, registries).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a hands-on scientific and technical leader, guiding a portfolio of RWE projects and mentoring team members.
• Identify common technical requirements for RWE projects and maintain a tool suite to accelerate delivery.
• End-to-end RWE studies: research questions, data feasibility, design, analysis, programming, interpretation.
• Provide leadership and programming for RWD methodologies to mitigate biases.
• Generate insights from post-hoc analyses, observational data, and literature reviews for regulatory interactions.
• Create study protocols, analysis plans, and deliverables including analysis-ready data, tables, figures.
• Partner with data science scientists to conceive and deliver Real World Evidence.
