Job summary

UMB Bank's Practice Solutions team seeks a Sr. Practice Solutions Relationship Manager to evaluate healthcare professionals’ needs and design custom financial solutions.

You’ll grow full client relationships via prospecting, referrals, and COI networks, with a hybrid on-site schedule. You’ll manage profitability and credit risk, negotiate loan proposals, and coordinate with Treasury, International, Trust and Cash Vault services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 7 years proven Practice Finance sales experience.
• Strong strategic sales knowledge for small business owners.
• High level of Practice Finance product knowledge.
• Deep knowledge of market/industry trends.
• Ability to source and produce credit opportunities.
• Knowledge of credit underwriting.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial lending practices and loan documentation.
• Advanced financial analysis including ratio and trend analysis.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience selling financial products/services.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, manage and grow assigned Practice Finance territory.
• Generate, retain, and expand lending, investment and deposit relationships with medical, dental, optometry, chiropractic and veterinary prospects and clients.
• Develop new prospect leads through existing clients, referrals, COI referrals, and prospecting.
• Act as a consultant to clients and a bank resource in developing and retaining business.
• Negotiate loan proposals, analyze credit requests, write loan commitments, and present to underwriter or loan committee.
• Participate in professional activities to enhance the bank's image and expand the personal network.
• Attend local and national industry trade shows with the Practice Solutions national team.
• Communicate and collaborate with business banking teams and internal partners.
• Manage relationship profitability and portfolio risk; drive profitable portfolio growth.
• Provide insights for enhancing client relationships, cash flow, profitability and efficiency.
• Monitor and manage existing credit relationships, renewals, and covenant monitoring; report on asset/credit quality.
• Serve as the primary link for financial services to Practice Solutions clients (Treasury, International, Trust, Cash Vault).
• Maintain CRM usage.
